The ATP Umag tournament is one of the most attractive global ATP International Series tournaments for men, and is responsible for the development of the many tennis schools, camps and tennis tournaments in the Umag area. Today, the town has 60 modern tennis courts and also an impressive ITC tennis centre Stella Maris.

Not many tournaments in this category can be proud to have entertained so many names from the world tennis elite: Thomas Muster, Gustavo Kuerten, Marcelo Rios, Carlos Moya, Alberto Berasategui, Filippo Volandri, Novak Djoković, Ivan Ljubičić, David Ferrer, and Guillermo Canas...

Yet, Umag is not only about tennis. Year after year, main tennis events are accompanied by rich and attractive programmes intended for various types of guests hungry for fun. These programmes include some daily sport activities and meetings with well-known sportsmen, exclusive parties, concerts and all night entertainment.

A great balance of daily entertainment, afternoon matches and various evening concerts and parties are a good reason to visit Umag and also an opportunity to see other important people. Several high officials from the countries of the region spend their holiday here and the tournament is held under the auspices of the president of the Republic of Croatia.

Numerous awards bear witness to the excellent tournament organization: a special ATP organization “Award of excellence” that the Umag tournament won 5 times and each time the improvement in the organization of the tournament was pointed out.
