On 22nd September at 16:00, Umag will host a bike tour to celebrate the European Car-Free Day.
Numerous cities throughout Europe and the world celebrate this day in different ways, all with the goal of raising the awareness of their citizens of health, quality of life and benefit to the environment.
The tour will start at the Sloboda Square; the path will follow the track of the Umag tourist train up to the tourist village of Katoro, continuing to the old port in Savudrija, and back to Umag.
There is no fee, and all participants must wear protective bike helmets, as they participate in the race at their own risk.
Cycling is a cheap and healthy way of getting around the town and simultaneously supports healthy and active lifestyle.
Use the European Car Free Day to do something good for yourself and our planet. Join our ride on September 22 and enjoy nature, recreation and friendly mingling outdoors.
Contribute to this day and event with your presence and participation.
Wellcome!
