Every year Novigrad organises a festival in the name of its patron saint, St. Pelagije, a festival which is very well known and is considered a must-attend event.
This city festivity will offer various cultural, entertaining and sport events during a couple of days.
Central and most important part of the celebration will be from August 24 to 28th, full of music and entertaining events such as concerts, dances, sports competitions and the traditional fireworks at the end.
The unmissable folk games, like popular "kukanje", bingo and numerous cultural events will once again entertain our many visitors.
In addition, over the last several years events intended for the younger audience were organized at the Large Square, while people in their prime who love the sound of music and dance music can enjoy musical performances at Porporela.
The last day of the Festivity of St. Pelagius is usually reserved for a big concert of some popular Croatian singer, so that Gustafi, Šajeta, Goran Karan, Giuliano, Parni valjak and many others performed at Porporela over the last years.
After the eventful couple of days accompanied by a varied eno-gastronomic offer on the stands by Novigrad's Mandrač, all visitors will enjoy a magnificent firework closing the festivity.
