Golf in Istria

Istria has a potential to become a new golfing destination in Croatia. The 18-hole championship golf course in Istria, located near Savudrija, in the vicinity of Umag, is one of the three golf courses in Croatia which has obtained Course & Slope Rating according to USGA Course Rating System. More than 10 new golf course locations are being proposed to be built in Istria, with the aim for Istria to become a leading golf region of Croatia.
